Recap of 2022

Wow! I’m so thankful for an amazing 2022 and so thankful for my great God! What an incredible year and what an awesome God we serve. Even in the challenges, our God is always faithful. I am so blessed to serve Him. As you reflect back on 2022, what are some highlights for you?

Some of my highlights included:

1. Our first Family Mission Trip. It was always a dream of mine to go on a mission trip with my family, and by God’s grace, we did it! Yes! Our first-ever family mission trip to the Amazon was incredible. To sleep in hammocks on a boat and wake up in different villages along with Amazon was amazing. Seeing God work in and through my kids was life-changing. I’m so thankful and blessed! We had some special time together as a family from super fun vacations and experiences, but this one tops them all. Thank You, Father!

2. My oldest daughter, Grace, went off to college. Everyone tells you “time flies.” But, when you drop your child off at college, you truly experience it for yourself. I can’t believe she is there. I am so proud of Grace. She is a godly young woman, and He has great plans for her. You go, girl! Your daddy loves you and believes in you!

3. Versus. Wow! To see God work in the lives of men in our community was incredible. That night at the Ag Center with Tim Tebow, God moved in a mighty way and so many men accepted Christ and made life-impacting commitments to Him. And, to see God using other men to accomplish His will is so inspiring. Come, Lord Jesus! And, raise up godly men for Your glory!

4. RHCC Summer Camp. What an amazing week to be with all the middle school and high school students from our church. I loved being with all these incredible leaders. Our God is doing something special in this next generation. It was amazing to see so many accept Christ Jesus for the first time and everyone grow deeper in Christ. Our God is truly at work. So thankful!

5. Israel. It is truly life-impacting to walk where Jesus walked and to see the Bible come to life in this special place. There is no place in the world like it. Then to be there with our church family and to see people growing in their faith journey with the Lord. The bonus was having the opportunity to be in Israel with my college roommate who is an amazing pastor in Texas. We have been friends for 35 years. His first time to Israel, and Wayne loved it. So awesome to be in the Land.

There were so many other highlights from time with my mom, Easter Sunday, Christmas Eve miracle, and more. But, what I loved seeing the most was God transforming lives for His glory. We had more people baptized than any other year, babies born and dedicated to the Lord, marriages, and local and international missions. The miracle of life change in Christ is awesome to me. I am so thankful and blessed. Go, God! He is just getting started, and I love following Him!

I pray 2022 was a great year for you and that 2023 will be even better! Let’s dedicate the year and our lives to Him. Blessings on you and your family in 2023. Let’s go!
