Jeff Simmons is a man who loves Jesus, his family and God’s Church. Jeff is the husband to Lisa, and the father to three amazing daughters, Grace, Mabry and Kate. Jeff loves his family. In addition, Jeff is the Founding and Senior Pastor of Rolling Hills Community Church and the President of Justice and Mercy International. Jeff is an author and speaker, and he loves to lead Bible Studies, go on mission trips and share God’s love with others.
 

First and foremost, Jeff is a Christ-follower. Jeff committed his life to Jesus at a young age. Jeff was blessed to grow up in a wonderful family and a great church in San Antonio, Texas. Jeff then attended Baylor University where he majored in Business thinking God was calling him to be a Christian businessman. However, God called Jeff into ministry. Jeff graduated from Southwestern Seminary and then served as a Student Pastor for several years in Nashville, Tennessee.
 

In 2003, Jeff and Lisa felt God’s call to plant a church in Franklin, TN. With 15 people meeting in an apartment clubhouse on Thursday nights, God birthed Rolling Hills Community Church. The church then moved to meeting on Sunday mornings in a movie theater. After 5 years, Rolling Hills was able to buy a Warehouse close to downtown Franklin and has truly seen God do miracles. Today, Rolling Hills has six campuses - Franklin, Nashville, Nolensville, Columbia, Haywood Hills and Online. It has been an incredible journey with thousands of people and one awesome God!

 

This passion for sharing God’s Good News with all people led Jeff and Rolling Hills to launch a non-profit mission ministry called, Justice and Mercy International (JMI). JMI serves mainly in the country of Moldova with orphan and vulnerable children as well as in the Amazon River area with Jungle Pastors and the unreached people groups. JMI has a staff of 42 amazing servants of Christ serving in Moldova and four transitional living homes and offices for ministering to children throughout the country. In the Amazon, we are blessed with 8 full-time incredible staff, a large boat and a conference center for hosting annual Pastor’s Conferences and ministering in villages throughout the region.

 

Jeff’s heart is to bring glory to God in his day and generation. Jeff’s verse is Ephesians 3:20-21, “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen.” Jeff has truly seen God do “immeasurably more” and he is so grateful to God!
